Cancellation Policy

At Gotrip Official, we strive to offer you seamless and memorable travel experiences. We understand that plans may change, and we’ve designed a transparent cancellation policy that outlines the terms for trip cancellations, refunds, and associated charges.

This policy applies to all domestic and international travel packages, including group tours, private tours, student trips, and corporate travel services booked with Gotrip Official via our website, representatives, or affiliated sales partners.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing at info@gotripofficial.com. Cancellation will be effective only from the date we receive the written request.

Note: 

Any non-refundable components such as flight/train tickets, visa charges, permits, or advance hotel payments will be deducted in full, regardless of cancellation timeline.

  1. Please Note: Cancellation policy is subject to change. It depends on the hotel policy.
  2. In peak season( example: long weekends, festival season, summer vacation etc.) most of the hotels charge 100% cancellation.

2. Cancellation by Gotrip Official

Gotrip Official reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip due to:

  • Insufficient group size
  • Natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemic-related restrictions
  • Operational or logistical constraints
  • Unforeseen events beyond our control

In such cases, we will offer:

  • Option to reschedule to another batch/trip without additional charges OR
  • Travel credit valid for 12 months

Note: We shall not be liable for compensation beyond the refund amount.

3. Partial Cancellation & No Show

  • If you choose to leave the trip mid-way or fail to join the group at the scheduled departure point, no refund will be provided.
  • If any participant is denied travel due to missing documents, late arrival, or failure to meet eligibility criteria, cancellation charges will apply as per standard policy.

4. Refund Process

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 10–15 working days after written Mail confirmation of cancellation.
  • Refunds will be made via original mode of payment or UPI transfer.
  • Any third-party payment gateway charges are non-refundable.

5. Force Majeure Clause

Gotrip Official shall not be liable for cancellations due to force majeure events including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, lockdowns, curfews, pandemics, earthquakes, floods, or government restrictions. In such cases:

  • We may offer a travel credit or alternative tour dates instead of a direct refund.

6. Custom/Private Tours

Cancellation terms for customized tours, private groups, or corporate bookings may vary and will be mentioned in the specific booking agreement. Please refer to your trip confirmation email or speak to our representative.

7. Special Terms for Offers & Discounts

Bookings made under special promotional offers, limited-period discounts, or flash sales may carry non-refundable terms. Please review the terms shared during booking or on the promotional page.
